The point of your efforts at search engine optimization for your website is to increase site visibility when it comes to search results. If someone searches for a keyword related to your site then you not only want your website to appear in the search rankings—you want to appear with a high search engine ranking. Ideally you want to be on the first page of results as general study suggests that few people look past that first page of results.
